When I ride my bike, I often think about the panorama of my life.   I started thinking about how best to express it, so I began thinking about I much I enjoy writing poetry.   My birth father enjoyed writing poems, my grandmother wrote me after I had sent her some of my best work as a first grader.  “There was a cat, his name was Pat, and he had on a funny little hat!”  “There was a dog, his name was Spot, but he did not, have a single dot!”

My goal is not to “orphan” this blog as I have so many others.  Hopefully, through poetry, I will leave a legacy of words for my children and future grandchildren.
